An aspect of my chosen career that I love is the fact that it changes so quickly and regularly. There is always something new to learn. This week I am prepping, as well as working on a coupe of new certifications.
I need to spend a little more time with Windows 10. I have a tendency to lag behind some of peers when it comes to investigating the latest beta release on an operating system. I know that so many things can change before an OS goes RTM (Release to Manufacture). I’m not sure about release dates quite yet (or more appropriately ‘release goals’), but it’s anywhere from 6 months to a year out, and it looks like a very promising environment.
Other than that, studying for some exams. My ongoing battle, working to stay certified in what I teach, and picking up a few new skills along the way. It’s important to get out of the same cert channel every now and then to spread one’s wings and see if you’ve got what it takes in an area outside of your comfort zone.
