I suppose I could write it as I write this blog – as an attempt to explain to my descendants what is happening now in the world.

OK… that’s called self-deprecating humor. Basically, you’re putting yourself down. I’m probably more guilty of doing that than I’ll readily admit to, but I do have flaws in my personality, and trying to seek approval and acceptance is probably something that I’ve been a little obnoxious about over the years.

We stayed there three years then moved to Omaha. We were only there about six months when dad got promoted again, so it was off to Kansas City, Missouri for a year. Then it was the move to Salina, where I finished out elementary and high school. We still moved once, between my seventh and eighth-grade years.

Hey, gang, I’m back.
