It’s my dad’s birthday. Donald Bruce Reinsch turns 77 years old today. Called home to wish him the best, and at the time I called he hadn’t received the birthday gift I had sent, but that’s OK.

My dad is a great guy. He showed me how to work, and that hard work leads to rewards. It’s Saturday night, and everybody around here is just about pooped, meaning tired. Lot’s of unpacking and reordering going on today as we continue the process of settling into the new home.

One of my principal goals was to get our internet setup for our use today. Looks like it is installed and working adequately. The speeds down from the internet are functional, but the speeds going up certainly leave something to be desired. You can’t have everything though, right?

In sports, the Big 12/SEC basketball challenge happened today. Things did not go so well for the conference, as the SEC scored six wins to the Big 12’s four wins. At least Kansas was one of those wins, thumping the Texas A&M Aggies. KU could’ve won by more, but they looked like they took their foot off the gas in the second half. They can’t take their foot off the gas come Monday night, as the Jayhawks travel to Manhattan to take on the KSU Wildcats.
