Alrighty, this is my first attempt at writing my blog live since the thunderstorms rolled through last night and put a big hurt on our internet access.

We’re trying to get things straightened out here, with the pool issues. OK, gang! here’s tonight’s entry from rural Douglas County, but to be completely honest, I have no idea if this is going to be able to post tonight. We’ve got some thunderstorms rolling through the area, and they are definitely affecting my ability to connect to the internet and pull down anything, let alone push a new blog entry up.

It’s been a busy day. Had the pool guy come over and help us find the hole (slash?) in our vinyl pool liner, and then I had the opportunity to get into the pool first to put a temporary cover over the slash, and later put a semi-permanent patch on the thing. After that, the garage door guys came over and let me know what was going on with my door.
