Good morning, and a happy Monday to you all. Today is 28 April 2025.
Since I last updated this little chronicle, I did a couple of things. I had some blood drawn for labs, I drove to Salina on Friday afternoon, enjoyed some tacos at an old hometown brewpub, and attended a concert featuring Andy McKee, a great finger-style guitar player from Topeka. I crashed at a hotel, got up early Saturday to head home… and the rest of Saturday was rather bleah. Sunday was a family day and a gaming day, with some time spent with my favorite granddaughter, and more time spent with the guys online, making a fantasy environment safe for humanoids of all shapes, sizes, and species.
Today is a work day, with a demo teaching segment. I made up a short slide deck for a similar experience last week, so I can recycle. After that, I need to focus on content creation and editing for another project – the deadline is Wednesday. I also need to keep my eyes open for emails regarding some upcoming deliveries.
When I get a chance, I need to reconfigure my office a little bit in order to make more room on my primary delivery desk. I have a 22″ external writing display that I want to move from my left-hand desk to my primary desk, then move that left-hand desk to a different space in the office. I’m doing that in an effort to keep work stuff separate from creative stuff.
