Good morning, and a happy Friday to you all. Today is 25 April 2025.
Yesterday was a pretty good day. I got some things done, booked a few more work days for May and June, and addressed some travel plans for May as well. I enjoyed a productive meeting with a colleague in Winnipeg and settled in to play with the guys for a couple of hours last evening.
Today will be interesting. Tests at the doctor’s office first, then running by Avis to snag a rental car. I’m going to a concert in my hometown this evening. I’ll get to see Andy McKee again, a guitar player from Topeka who has earned a global following. It’s going to be weird going to Salina – I don’t think I’ve been back since my dad’s funeral in 2019.
My wife let me know what the weekend is going to look like. I’m looking forward to spending some time with kids, and my granddaughter. I might have to break out a guitar and see if I can strum out something Evie can have fun dancing to.
