Good morning, and happy Wednesday. Today is 5 March 2025.
For those that observe, today is also Ash Wednesday.
Yesterday was a pretty productive day. I tackled some responsibilities, and they didn’t tackle back, so that’s good. I took care of some financials and some other tasks, then returned to studying and job searching. I went back into LinkedIn and thought that my job search was a little narrow, so I modified that and republished my availability.
Trump spoke before a joint session of Congress, patting himself on the back for more than an hour-and-a-half. I didn’t watch – Lisa and watched “Chopped” reruns instead, and I discovered a couple of new ingredients that I never want showing up in my basket. Ick!
We had tacos last evening, and Gracie came over for awhile. She’s coming back over this morning with the granddaughter in tow, so my Wednesday morning will have some extra sunshine. The day has a cold, blustery vide to it – a late winter snowstorm blew across the state yesterday evening, and dropped a little snow and ice. I don’t think the accumulation will last long, but the roads might be a little slick.
Tonight – slaying with the guys! It’s my social outlet.
That’s all I have for now. Time to make some coffee and figure out what I’m going to have for breakfast. No bacon today… might be a good day for yogurt and granola.
