God morning and a very happy Taco Tuesday to you all. Yeah, you knew I was going to say that… today is 4 March 2025.
Today is the morning after a KU basketball game, but I’m not going to talk about it. I had a feeling Kansas was going to lose on the road again, so I didn’t watch it. Lisa and I focused on some other things last night, and by the time we were ready to push off and head to bed, the game had been decided… although I will admit that Kansas didn’t lose as badly as I originally thought they would on the road at Houston. It’s been a rough season for the Jayhawks. They started the season ranked number one in the country, and now they aren’t even in the top 25, and somewhere in the middle of the conference standings.
I have some things to work on today. Yesterday I ran a couple errands, and today I’ll run a couple more. The good news is that I think I finally have everything resolved with my unemployment insurance, and now I get to deal with some other financial responsibilities.
Tonight… there will be tacos.
The weather has been pretty good, but today is expected to be rainy and windy, about what one would expect from the first week of March… in a like a lion.
OK, time for me to make a pot of coffee and see what there is in the fridge for breakfast. I’m not really that picky, a couple slices of toast with peanut butter is a pretty good breakfast, too.
