Good morning, and a happy Monday to you. Today is Veteran’s Day, Remembrance Day, 11 November 2024.
The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month…
This is going to be a pretty short post.
It was a good weekend for Kansas and Kansas City sports fans. Kansas hosted North Carolina on Friday night in basketball, and pulled off a nice win. The KU football team played Saturday afternoon against a ranked Iowa State team and found a way to win. The KU soccer team played in the Big 12 Championship against a ranked TCU team, and brought home the trophy. Then the Kansas City Chiefs did what they do, blocking a field goal as time ran out to beat the Denver Broncos by 2.
After the Chiefs won, I had my tabletop session with the guys, and that went pretty well.
Since then, the focus has turned to a family member that’s under the weather, so I’m going to wrap this up and go to the hospital to see someone.
