Evie Day 596
Good morning! It is the last day of the Western work week! Today is Friday, 1 November 2024.
I saw a little girl dressed up in a monkey costume yesterday. Gracie popped over late yesterday morning for a visit with my granddaughter, just long enough to grab a KitKat and change a diaper. I was teaching an East Coast time zone class, so it was not a scheduling problem, I was going to lunch an hour earlier with the time zone difference.
Ooh… that’s a reminder. Time change this weekend. I’m sleeping in on Monday.
It’s already November. This year is going by fast. I’ve got one Christmas present covered – I thought of that as an ad for Hallmark Christmas Romances popped up on the morning news channel… I think I’ll block that channel on the remote until January.
Just kidding. I have one daughter who would stop talking to me if I did that, and my wife wouldn’t be too happy either.
I just saw an ad featuring three senior women having coffee, telling each other how Trump will keep them safe. Never mind that violent crime was higher during the Trump administration than it is now, and those ladies ought to be happy they aren’t alone with Donald Trump in the changing room at Berdorff-Goodman. Would you trust Trump to watch your puppy over the weekend?
It’s time for me to shift gears. Trash day, coffee, breakfast, and a couple of meetings.
I hope the world is treating you better than you deserve.
Peace y’all.
