Good morning, and a happy Friday to you all. Today is 10 May 2024.
I might get to spend a little quality time with my youngest daughter and my granddaughter later today. There may be ice cream at one of the local parlors involved. That’s always a great way to kick off a weekend, and what a weekend it will be.
I’ve got plenty to do today, and some of my tasks will overflow to tomorrow, I’m sure – the mowing is an absolute. Sunday, however, is all about our youngest child, our son, who graduates with his degree in Mechanical Engineering on Sunday as well. Mothers Day, Graduation Day, that’s enough to keep me family-focused this weekend.
I wrapped up my security class yesterday. I think it went pretty well, but the proof is always going to be in the comments left in the post-class survey. Based on the live feedback I received during the delivery, I feel pretty good about checking out the reviews.
Next week my delivery starts on Tuesday and runs through Friday. We’ll have team meetings on Monday. I’ve got plenty to keep me focused between now and then, with some applied skills training, a run-through on some labs, and some much-needed work on course blueprints.
In the meantime, we still have fresh bagels in the house, and the coffee awaits my attention.
