Good morning, and happy Monday to you all! It is 26 June 2023.
I should have kept my eyes out for a 100-Day report from my daughter about my granddaughter over the weekend. I might need to review my texts.
I started off the day by telling somebody in the comments about the inclusion social contract. He was telling me that all progressives are evil and discussing. I disagreed, but then I realized that the person I am having this little verbal spat with is defending neo-Nazis. I think I’m sitting in the right corner from a historical perspective.
I’m back in my virtual classroom shortly, teaching an east coast time zone class this week – the last class for the fiscal year. Next week I’ll take some vacation. I’m currently scheduled to work on Monday, but I’m starting to change my lean on that commitment. I’ve planned out my vacation time for the rest of the calendar year, and although we don’t keep tight track of vacation time due to policy changes, my manager wants to make sure I am taking at least as many days of vacation as I would have had if we were still tracking vacation days. So, I’ve got 5 days left. Maybe I should take off Monday, too, and get that sorted.
Not much else going on right at the moment. I need to make some coffee and grab a bit of breakfast.
