Day 21,610

15 November 2022. It is Tuesday.

Lisa and I are sitting in the living room, I’m on the sofa, and she’s on the loveseat. All of our dogs have gravitated to her, and it’s rather humorous. It’s as if the dogs know who gives out the most treats.

The news is always a mix of the good and the bad. Right now they covering the violent murders of three University of Virginia football players. UVA is shut down for a second day. Yesterday, the University of Wisconsin was shut down as well, as one of the murdered football players was a transfer from Wisconsin.

The good news is that an election denier was denied in Arizona. Kari Lake came up short, and that’s a sign that our democracy is healthy. There is still a possibility that Lauren Boebert could lose her seat in the House of Representatives as she and her opponent are headed for a recount. A number of mail-in ballots are being reviewed, and apparently, in Colorado, folks get a chance to correct mistakes in their mail-in ballots to get them counted.

Tonight, Kansas faces Duke. Bill Self, Kansas’ Head Basketball Coach, is on a self-imposed four-game suspension over the recruitment of a player than never attended the University of Kansas – the player attended Duke. It will be curious to listen to the verbal dance that little factoid will lead to during the game.

Day 2 of my admin course. Central Standard Time, so a slow roll up to the beginning of the day.

I hope the world is treating you better than you deserve.

Peace y’all.
