Today, from all appearances, there was an attempted coup of our nation’s capitol. A group of wannabe revolutionaries stormed Congress, temporarily controlled the House and Senate chambers, broke into the offices of our congressional members, and documented the experience for social media
One woman was shot and killed. Numerous police officers were treated for injuries.
If this had been a group of Black Lives Matter protestors, it likely would’ve resulted in a lot more bloodshed, if we were to follow historical examples. It was mostly a bunch of white dudes waving Gadsden, Confederate Battle, and Trump flags.
Look this day up. It was insane. I’m hoping that folks heed the calls for the 25th Amendment and remove Trump, as he is no longer capable of fulfilling his duties.
