It’s a beautiful Saturday night, with a sunset painted in layers of pink and blue. I am feeling lucky and blessed tonight, as my home is filled with happy people, two dogs, and puppy.
Might be a spider lurking in the furnace room, but we don’t need to dwell on that.
Might freak out my wife and daughter. I have no idea how my son’s girlfriend will react. Probably not well.
It’s been a Saturday, a day to focus on reenergizing and getting our collective heads together for the following week. Lisa and the kids are done with school for the semester, and I have one more week in the classroom, then I’m taking a week off.
I’m trying to flex my imagination muscled, and I’m thinking about some things to write about and try to develop into a story. Time to do a little thinking.
I probably ought to spend a little time playing with Odin before we call it a night. He slept pretty well last night, all the way until 5:30 this morning. Time to grab his little bunny toy and play a little tug of war with the pooch.
I hope the world is treating you better than you deserve.
Peace y’all.
