In other sports news, the KU Jayhawks beat the Stanford Cardinal at their house by 16. It was a good win for the ‘Hawks against an 11-1 Cardinal team, coached by former KU player Jared Haase. The real excitement for the Kansas team might’ve been on their way home when they lost an engine on their plane and had to return to the airport. This’ll delay them a day on their return trip.
