Day 20,146

It’s a Wednesday night in the country. Lisa is lightly snoozing in the recliner next to me, two small dogs snuggled up to her. Lucy seems to be in REM sleep, dreaming of something and making the cutest little noises.

I finished up strong on my three day class. Had a lunch meeting with the powers that be to discuss the changes to the training horizon that we’ll have to address in the coming months. Many of the new courses will land directly in my lap. It is apparent that some aspects of these changes aren’t optimal for me, but, most importantly, I’ll buckle down and do. It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to complain, because I’m not the iceberg that is going to change the direction of this boat.

Confirmed my get together with my brother for Friday night. Off to see some great guitar players in the Generation Axe show. Steve Vai, Zack Wylde, Yngwie Malmsteen, Nuno Bettencourt, and Tosin Abasi. I have a feeling I am going to get my fill of shred on this trip, more than enough to get me through the winter.
