It’s been a Sunday… that last fun day before everything starts back over on Monday again. Hi kids.
To be frank, it’s been a fairly productive day around here. Got up, got after it. Went to early Mass. After that, Dane and I went to the store to pick up a few things for lunch, tacos and nachos being the menu items for the day.
Went well with the Chiefs traveling to Cleveland to take on the Browns. Chiefs won, so complaints here.
After that, another run to Menards for heavy warm socks… regularly $2.99 for a pair, but right now, buy one set, get another set free. So.. I guess that means I’m set for socks for a while.
Regarding social media, we’re two days away from an election. I’m going to stop arguing with people… even the idiots. You would not believe some of the crap I see cluttering up my newsfeed. Makes me wonder if any of these people ever crack a newspaper or do any sort of fact-checking.
But for now, no more arguing. I’ll read the comments. I’ll fact check. I’ll formulate an opinion. And I’ll try to keep my mouth shut. I don’t have to argue about every incorrect assumption and misstated fact.
