It’s Friday night. Tomorrow I get up at 4:15 and head to the airport, hop a flight to Orlando for what has become my regular annual sojourn to the Microsoft Conference that goes by the handle “Ignite”. When I first became a Microsoft Certified Trainer, it was called TechEd.
I guess the marketing folks like names liked “Ignite” and “Inspire”.
I’ve got a few things to pay attention to. The powers that be have asked me to take a beta exam for a pending cert I’m going to have to earn later this year.
Tomorrow is MCT Day Zero, with lunch at 11:00 AM. I don’t think I’m going to make it, but I’ll do my best. I can’t get into the condo I’m staying at until after four o’clock.
Tomorrow night, who knows? There is supposed to a social event around some sort of “Paradise” theme. My luck it will center on the ballad from the prom slow-dance from the movie “Footloose”.
