Tonight my mind is listing heavily to the east, as I prepare and pack for my annual sojourn to the Microsoft Ignite (formerly TechEd0 conference in Orlando, Florida.
I think I have my clothing situation sorted out. The new t-shirts that I had hoped would arrive in time to take with look to be stuck in Kansas City. I’ll have to wait and see if they arrive in time to make the trip. At this point, I’m not optimistic. Too bad… they would’ve been some fun t-shirts.
It hacks me off a bit, but I put off the order, and I chose not to expedite. I could’ve paid extra to have them arrive on time, but the company’s estimate had them arriving on time. That’ll be the last time I go with a non-guaranteed delivery date.
Today, it got up to 96 degrees. Pretty warm for this late in September, just a day or two before the formal arrival of fall. The pool felt good tonight.
