It’s late Tuesday afternoon. I’m wrapping up the last lab of the day, two more modules to cover tomorrow, then I get a little breather. I still have work to do during my prep weeks, but I don’t have to tackle the daily commute to Leawood from Lawrence, so that part of it makes my life a little easier.
Lisa and I will be heading over to Lawrence High tonight for Dane’s marching band concert. After that, he apparently has a band lock-in until midnight – I can’t say I’m very excited about him having a lock-in that late on a school night, but at least he has late arrival on Wednesday night.
I’m thinking tacos are going to be on the menu tonight, some soft, some crispy… and some chips and salsa on the side. That should make for an appropriate Taco Tuesday feast. Not quite sure how many we’re going to have for dinner tonight.
Ordered a couple of things for the barn today, and I arranged to have a contractor come out to take a look at my electrical situation. I need to get my workshop space prepped! It’s an exciting prospect. One of the things I ordered today was a lumber rack so I can get all of Lisa’s beautiful walnut off the floor and get it up on the wall, safe from things that scurry.
