It’s a Sunday night in rural Douglas County, and I’m sitting here at the keyboard trying to hammer out a couple of hundred words.
It’s been weird, and a little busy.
Got up this morning, had a cup of coffee and a few mini apple tarts.
Went out to buy a red raspberry bush. Not a black raspberry bush. Red. Can’t mix those berries. Have to be at least 75 feet from each other.
…
OK, I’m back.
So , I took off around 12:30, and went to go pickup a shrubbery. I hope you get the reference.
On the way home, this dude was walking along old K-10, and I offered him a ride into town. It’s a hundred degrees outside, and this guy is walking from Eudora to Lawrence. Glad I could help him out.

Wasn’t too long after I got home, Gracie calls. Car is dead. Might have to make a decision on that situation in the next couple of months. I’ll call Terry over at Free State in the morning.
It was kind of cool with Gracie, though. She suggested we buy a couple of sandwiches for some homeless folks.
So today, I gave a hiker a ride and fed some homeless folks.
I usually don’t bring up that kind of thing. I think it’s kind of patting myself on the back.
Great dinner. A little time in the pool.
Office 365 tomorrow in Leawood.
Hope life is well with you.
Peace y’all.
