Day 19,990

Hey gang! It’s Saturday night in rural Douglas County. It’s been a long day, with lots of travel for some, a little driving for me, some planting of some brambles (well. hopefully they’ll become brambles someday).

I’m kind of wiped out.

Lisa and I watched some of the news today. Trump was at the G7 summit in Quebec with the leaders of 6 other major economic powers. He did his best to advocate for his boss, lobbying the other countries to invite Russia to join this economic group once again. He declined to participate in some of the more important session having to do with empowering women and climate change. He later refused to sign the summit concord, blaming the Prime Minister of Canada, saying he lied and was a weak leader.

This administration is such an incredible embarrassment.

But hey, Putin is getting his money’s worth.

Now Mr. “I Don’t Need to Prepare, All it Takes Is The Right Attitude” is heading off for a meeting that is likely doomed before they ever get done with breakfast.

Trump won’t sign an agreement with six of our most important allies. It wouldn’t surprise me if Trump ends up signing anything put in front of him, from some ridiculous treaty that he has never read to Kim Jong Un’s cleaning bill.

Time will tell.

Peace y’all.
