Hey gang, it’s Monday night in rural Douglas County, and I’ve been pretty productive today.

Got my daughter’s car tire situation resolved, at least for now, and in the process taught my son how to change a flat tire on a car. It’s not something monumental. I know, but it’s enough

Lots of things in the news to make us think about our government. Is anybody above the law? Can a man be his own judge in a democracy with a system of checks and balances?

Soon our Supreme Court may have to decide. Is the President above the law? I shudder at the possibility that our Chief Executive cannot be held accountable for actions deemed to be illegal.

And yet, here we are.

I have a feeling that the guy sitting in the Oval Office will not like the popular opinion on that particular question.

My belief? No man is above the law.
