Day 19,960

OK, it’s the end of a wonderful Mother’s Day around rural Douglas County. I wish I had been around for more of it.

Let me explain.

I woke up this morning, and as can be the natural order of things, I went to check my cell phone before I attempted to call my mother on this fine day.

There’s an error message on my phone.

Funny how these error messages pop up just as your lease runs out on your cell phone.

Anyway, I decided to run into the phone store to check on a problem resolution, and in turn, discovered that I needed a new phone.

I also knew that Bonnie was in need of a new phone as well, so we ended up with two new phones.

Bonnie’s transfer took moments.

Ugh.

So, long about 6:00 PM, after a few hours of waiting in the phone store, I walked out with a new phone restoring apps from backup.

It needs to charge up, but I figure I’ll get used to it after a period of time. I need to get my contacts up to date, of course, but I’ll get used to the new situation, just like I got used to every other situation I dealt with in the past.

I have an aptitude for technology.

Peace y’all.
