It’s a Thursday afternoon, and I’m writing this from Leawood, Kansas, as I close out the work day here at the training center.
Meanwhile, back in Douglas County, the girls are wrapping up their finals. Gracie is done, Bonnie has one more tonight, I think, and she’s going to want to borrow my car tomorrow to move her stuff out of her scholarship hall.
Summer is just about here.
Gracie has a job and a barn to work on. Bonnie has an internship in Kansas City. Lisa is teaching this summer and picking up a little work doing this and that, mostly consulting, possible a little expert witness work.
Dane is going to get out this weekend and start looking for a summer job to earn his keep a little bit.
I’m just going to keep on keeping on. I’ve got some new classes coming down the pipeline that I need to prepare for, and the hits just keep on coming.
