Tonight I’m writing my blog on what has to be my least favorite keyboard in the wide world of keyboards that I call Casa Del Bobster. The ASUS Transformer fills an interesting niche in my house. I primarily use it as a Kindle replacement, and the occasional computer game, and I think this might very well be the first time I’ve tried to write my blog on this keyboard.
Don’ t worry ASUS, by the time I get done writing this little diatribe, I’ll likely feel much more comfortable with the keyboard.
It’s a big “first world problems” thing.
I’ve been picky about my keyboards for decades, literally, from the first Commodore PET Chiclet keyboard, to those god-awful keyboards on the late 80’s era Macs, to those oh-so-crispy click-tactile IBM keyboards that weighed 20 pounds and could be used to fend off a corporate takeover. Now for that old IBM click-tactile feel, you can find yourself dropping a hundred bucks or more.
My son has the bug, too.
