Day 19,671

It’s been a busy day around here.

Had a new washer and dryer installed this morning. We’ve been washing clothes all day. The dryer makes a little music when the load is done.

I’m back teaching in Leawood today after the power was restored to the classroom. Covered 5 modules of lecture, slides and demos. That’s a lot of stuff to cover.

Sitting here watching the US Men’s National Team compete with Jamaica in the Gold Cup competition. Jamaica just tied up the game 1-1 early in the second half. Clint Dempsey just subbed in for the US.

(Jamaica lost their goalie early… looked like he might have dislocated fingers on right hand. I couldn’t help but notice the folks in the stand that didn’t know why he wouldn’t hi-five fans when he was being escorted back to the locker room).

Trump decided to throw 15,000 transgendered soldiers, sailors, and airmen out of the military today. Seems kind of stupid to me.

I should probably start making some references for posterity… who knows, someday my grandchildren might read my blog.

So, a message to my grandchildren and other descendants. Hi. I don’t know you yet, but know that you are loved. I might not be here when you read this, but if it is possible, I will do my best to look over you after I move on.

That’s all I’ve got for now.

Peace y’all.
