My Ruby’s back in the shop looks like the air conditioning is on the fritz, and that was the reason the check engine light came on. Sadly, my guys couldn’t get the car in until later Monday afternoon, so I wasn’t able to pick her up tonight after work. I have no idea how much this little bit of service is going to cost me, but I’m getting used to the mechanic’s bills these days. They’ve been putting a hurt on me for a few months now.
Had a power incident at work today. My one student and I were just sitting on the classroom when we heard the pop of the transformer outside and witnessed the power fluctuate, and the power never came all the way back on. After a while, we decided to call it a day. Hopefully, the power will be fully restored tomorrow so we can get back on track with the class.
Other than that, not much to report really. I should get my ride back tomorrow night, then have a chance to Uber around a little bit while the Junior Olympics are in town.
