First day back in the classroom in a few weeks.
I gotta tell ya, I need to quit sleeping in during prep weeks. It’s easy to get spoiled, not having to get up, get going, and hit the road by 6:30 or thereabouts in order to get to Leawood ahead of the traffic.
Last night I knew I had to get up at 5:45, and it was like my body was resisting the need for sleep. I chilled a bit yesterday, watched some of the Andrew Garfield “Spiderman” movies, the second featuring Dane DeHaan. Then, my son and I head over to the local movie theater and take in the new “Spiderman:Homecoming” movie, and there’s a preview of the new Dane DeHaan movie, “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets”.

When I did sleep last night, my REM sleep was filled with some fantastic visions of an expansive universe, filled with human beings and a variety of other races. I was piloting a craft to exotic destinations beyond the asteroid belt, possibly other wild locations that only exist between the waking moments.

More to think about.
