I’m beginning to understand why the first ten amendments to the Constitution are presented in the order in which they are.
The First Amendment: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
Pretty straightforward. Freedom of Speech, Freedom of the Press.
The Second Amendment: “A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”
There has been a lot of discussion of late, centered around this administration, encouraging a change in laws so that journalists can be jailed for their comments and stories.
It makes me want to laugh.
This is the shit that banana republics are built on.
You don’t want them to ask questions viagra cipla india and discuss your sexual condition. To make sure that this drug viagra 100mg tablet purchasing here works safely, it is important to consult a doctor before trying this medicine. If she does not share a good viagra canada rapport with her partner, the tension may even creep between the sheets, and leave a woman feel little or not gratified at all. Take the tadalafil from canada story of Kathleen and Ed Hurt.
In the coming weeks, I’m going to pay close attention to this, as this administration desires greater influence over the information presented to the public.
It’s not going to work, in fact, it’s more likely to do more damage than good.
But, hey, the way this administration is going, they might be rallying their supporters to take up their second amendment rights in order to stifle the first amendment rights of the rest of us.
Sadly, this seems to be within the realm of possibility.
Peace, y’all.
